Baccanale – roast porchetta in focaccia – wrapped in paper, a tasty and cheap snack to wander around the Campo di Fiore
Cafe di Rienzo – in the Pantheon Square – expensive but great coffee, old fashioned decor and service – wonderful
Ditta Trinchetti – a wonderful discovery in Trastevere, great decor – food is interesting and tasty and very affordable
Ak Bar – a fabulous bohemian place with eclectic decor and young friendly staff – a very ‘happening’ place. Food was exactly as ‘mama’ would make it.  Very cheap.
La Pergola – probably the most expensive place to eat in Italy, but spectacular!
