Fly Fishing

Chris Dore is a Queenstown based fly fishing guide and member of the New Zealand Professional Fishing Guides Association. In 2005 Chris became one of the first New Zealanders to successfully pass the internationally recognised, Federation of Fly Fishers Certified Casting Instructors examination. Chris specialises in fly fishing tuition, and guided sight fishing opportunities upon the unparalleled trout streams of the lower South Island of New Zealand. Rees Experiences

The Rees Hotel Queenstown is dedicated to developing an exclusive and unique range of experiences to offer our guests. They are designed to provide opportunities to learn more about the character and heritage of Queenstown, the Wakatipu Basin, the beautiful Southern Lakes District, the dramatic Southern Alps and the world renowned Milford Sound.

The Rees Peak Experience provides a range of personalised helicopter trips with guides trained to provide interpretive commentaries on the historical significance of heritage sites and significant natural landmarks of the region. We have a helicopter dedicated to the service of our guests, and arrangements for tours can be made with our Guest Services Director.

A private passenger jet service. The Rees Guest Service Team can arrange for a private passenger jet to pick up guests from a wide range of airports throughout New Zealand and travel to other New Zealand destinations during their stay in Queenstown.
