Night Porter
Bring your strong hospitality front office experience to an award winning hotel team. The Rees Hotel, Queenstown is accepting applications for an experienced hospitality professional.

“YOU” – PURPOSE OF POSITION
As Night Porter, you will support the night manager to ensure the smooth running of the hotel during the night shift. As a guest service driven hands-on professional, you will be responsible for doing hotel checks, attending to guest requests, as well as cleaning and administrative duties.

YOUR LEVEL OF SKILL AND EXPERIENCE
Have previous front office experience in high quality properties
Food & Beverage services experience
Proactive approach to problem solving
Superior verbal and written communication ability with an emphasis on accuracy
Passionate about customer service
Be able to work autonomously with excellent time management skills
Computer skills and experience with PMS (Preferably CMS Guest Centrix)
A second language will be highly desirable
Enjoys working the Night Shift including Public Holidays
Be able to work in team settings, demanding strong interpersonal skills
Long term commitment to Queenstown

ROOM ATTENDANT(S)
Purpose of Position
The ideal candidate will possess outstanding communication skills, be guest service driven and enjoy exceeding guests’ expectations. You will be proactive and focused on cleaning, maintaining and servicing all guest accommodations, hotel public and private areas to the required standards.

Level of Skill, Experience and Attributes

Previous housekeeping experience – highly desirable

Kitchenhand
Purpose of position
Join the award-winning True South Dining Room kitchen team as a Kitchenhand. You will be responsible for the cleaning of food preparation and service handling areas and the restaurant with an emphasis on impeccable hygiene practices. You will use your initiative and creativity to assist the kitchen and Food & Beverage Teams with the preparation and service of food.

Level of skill, experience and attributes
Have relevant prior experience in high quality properties
Understanding of Food Safety and impeccable hygiene practices

Mandarin Speaking Breakfast Shift Food & Beverage Attendant
Purpose of Position
As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you will be customer service focused with a true enthusiasm for hospitality. You will work alongside passionate food and wine stars and you will have a desire to expand your knowledge of hospitality, food and wine and the ambition to perform at your best. You will have a minimum of 1 year experience in fine dining and/or in high quality properties.

Level of skill, experience and attributes
Hold relevant industry qualification/s
Fluent in Mandarin and English
At least 1 year experience in a similar role and high quality properties
Passionate about “Customer Service/Care”
Passionate about food and wine
Be able to work unsupervised with excellent time management skills
Have strong initiative and ability to think outside the square
Superior verbal and written communication ability with an emphasis on accuracy—”eye for detail”
Experience with POS system (preferably CMS Guest Centrix)
Available to work a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
